How We Work

From first call to delivered results

Every engagement starts with the right question. We scope it, build it together, and you leave with something that works, not a dependency on us to keep it working.

01

Assessment

We study your operations, architecture, data, and constraints. The output is a clear picture of where you are and what's worth building: architecture gap analyses, compliance readiness reviews, AI opportunity maps, or technical due diligence reports.

02

Advisory

Recommendations grounded in what we found. Architecture roadmaps, compliance frameworks, AI build-or-buy analyses, governance structures. Specific enough to act on, sequenced so your team knows what comes first.

03

Delivery

When the plan calls for building, we build it. Prototypes, production systems, data pipelines, governance structures. Fixed scope, defined deliverables, handed off with documentation your team can operate from.

About Us

Who we are

Most AI advice falls into two camps: vendor hype that oversells what’s possible, or academic theory that undersells what’s practical. Neither helps the business leader who needs to decide, this quarter, whether AI is worth the investment and where to put the money.

Bill Sourour founded Arcnovus in 2007. The firm has spent nearly two decades building enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, and production software for organizations that can't afford to get it wrong. Arcnovus arrived at AI the same way its clients are: by building systems that work, then rebuilding them when the requirements change.

Recent work includes AI governance frameworks for federal departments, a content moderation system on a self-hosted LLM that caught thousands of records manual review missed, data hubs where analysts query a decade of records in plain language, and AI capability assessments for SaaS companies looking to integrate AI into their products.

Bill leads every engagement. He writes the architecture, builds the prototypes, and brings in specialists when the work requires it. TOGAF-certified enterprise architect, active Secret clearance, 25 years building systems across federal government, regulated industries, and private sector. A senior-led team sized to the engagement. No bait-and-switch.

Every engagement starts with the same question: what should we actually build, and is it worth building?

01

Specific

One problem at a time. Every engagement has a defined scope, a defined deliverable, and a defined end. No open-ended retainers.

02

Hands-on

We don't hand you a strategy deck and leave. We build prototypes, write architecture, deploy production systems, and transfer knowledge to your team.

03

Transferable

The code, the architecture, the documentation: yours. When the engagement ends, your team owns everything and can operate it without us.
